Marianne was an avid photographer. She was a great contributor to the school paper and yearbook. She was also a health fanatic and often fasted for several days at a time, long before the current day juice cleanse craze. Marianne moved to Florida after graduating from Wilmington, though I don't know exactly where. Chris Buckley (deceased) knew her whole story and said that Marianne drowned in 1976 in what was considered a very mysterious event. She believed Marianne was murdered because she didn't like water and would never voluntarily go swimming. I guess we will never know. RIP, Marianne. You were a good friend.
